Company History
Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes is named after the Barrios family, who is the cornerstone of all of A Good Egg Dining Group’s restaurants. Juan Barrios was working at Cheever’s Café in 2000 when the Paul’s purchased the business, and he and his nephew Rufino still hold down that concept’s kitchen. Ruben and Jose Barrios joined the team in 2002 when the Paul’s opened their second concept, Iron Star Urban BBQ, and they along with many other family members have been an integral part of the restaurant’s success. Juan’s son became the grillmaster at RED Primesteak when the concept opened in 2007, and was an invaluable asset. This is a very short list of Barrios family members that have and continue to leave their mark on A Good Egg Dining Group.
